Located on the picturesque West Coast of Barbados, QP Bistro offers a fusion of International cuisine and Caribbean flavors.
QP Bistro is one of three sister restaurants under the Happy Restaurants Group.
Having opened on November 28, 2021, the Bistro boasts stunning ocean views and gorgeous finishes for the perfect outing with friends and family!

Our Policies
Deposits
A deposit of $250 is required for reservations of up to 9 persons
A deposit of $750 is requited for reservations of 10 - 20 persons
A 50% deposit is required for booking larger than 20 persons
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled 48 hours in advance with no charge.
Cancellations made later than 48 hours before the reservation will result in loss of the full deposit.
Kids Policy
High chairs and strollers are not permitted after 5.30pm

Meet The Team
Ciro Perna
Director
Since graduating from one of the best hotel management schools in Italy, Ciro has worked in London, Tuscany and Naples, at prestigious establishments such as Hotel Romeo, and Hotel Adler Thermae Resort, both 5 star rated.
Incredibly guest focused and passionate, he has been with the company since 2021 when QP Bistro first opened. He then moved to The Cliff, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become Director of QP Bistro & The Cliff.


Wade Mascoll
Restaurant Manager
Wade is an experienced Food & Beverage Manager specializing in the hotel and restaurant industry and customer service with over 30 years’ experience in the field.
Wade has a reputation for miraculous attention to details and very strong organization skills. His journey began as a restaurant supervisor where he honed his leadership skills for over eight years, before dedicating 14 years as assistant restaurant manager at the prestigious Sandy Lane Hotel & Spa.
His training at the Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane, London, provided Wade with a solid foundation in luxury hospitality during a four-month intensive program. He further expanded his expertise at Canyon Ranch Health Resort in Lenox, where he spent 13 months immersed in wellness-focused dining experiences.
Wade's extensive experience culminated in a 11year tenure as Assistant Restaurant Manager at Tides Restaurant, where he contributed significantly to the establishment's success. Currently, he serves as the Restaurant Manager at QP Bistro, a role in which he continues to showcase his dedication to quality service and guest satisfaction.
D'Sean Miller
Head Chef
D’Sean’s passion for cooking began in his grandmother's kitchen and blossomed when he participated in junior cooking competitions, winning both local and regional Dueling Challenge titles. He proudly represented Barbados and the Caribbean at the Nations Cup in Grand Rapids, Michigan, securing four golds, three silvers, and two Best of Show awards against culinary powerhouses such as Mexico, Italy, and the USA.
In 2019, D’Sean was part of the Barbados Culinary Team, which was honoured as Team of the Year at Taste of the Caribbean. He has also showcased his skills at the Barbados Food and Rum Festival in 2019, 2022, and 2024.
D’Sean joined our team in 2021 as a Junior Sous Chef and was quickly promoted to Senior Sous Chef. Having trained with talented Michelin-star chefs at The Cliff, QP Bistro, and Tides, he now leads our Culinary Team, expertly blending Bajan flavours with international techniques to create culinary masterpieces.


Onell O'Neale
Cellar Master
For Onell, the dream of becoming a chef began in childhood. After earning an associate degree in Culinary Arts, he discovered a new passion: the world of wine. This revelation occurred during his studies, where he learned the artistry of pairing food and wine flavors.
Balancing life as a chef and wine waiter at The Cliff Beach Club, Onell’s dedication led him to become one of the cellar masters, achieving both Level 1 and Level 2 WSET certifications.
After broadening his experience over several years, Onell returned to The Cliff as the Cellar Master, overseeing the wine programs for both QP Bistro and The Cliff. He continues to expand his knowledge, bottle by bottle.

Chad Harris
Bar and Lounge Manager

With over a decade of experience in various aspects of food and beverage, Chad has proven himself to be a multifaceted professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Over the past seven years at our renowned sister company, The Tides, Chad received comprehensive training in front-of-house and bar operations. During this time, he flourished as a leader, with his progression from food runner to assistant bar manager serving as a testament to his exceptional work ethic and attitude.
Now, as the Bar and Lounge Manager at QP Bistro, Chad brings his expertise in delivering efficient, seamless service together with a passion for innovation, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience—all while sharing his infectious smile.

Stacey Whitney
Reservations & Events Manager
Bringing over 20 years of invaluable experience in the hospitality industry, Stacey serves as our Reservations & Events Manager. Her journey began as a Chef, cultivating her culinary skills and passion for hospitality at various esteemed hotels and restaurants. In 2000, she joined a prestigious luxury resort, where she seamlessly transitioned from the kitchen to the front office, showcasing her versatility and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Driven by her dedication to excellence, Stacey further expanded her expertise into reservations management, where her meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess shone. Now, as a vital member of our team, Stacey leverages her extensive background to ensure seamless operations and unforgettable experiences for our guests, making her an indispensable asset.
